I have a usr11g wireless networking PCI card and a WMP54GV2 wireless network card and I was wondering how I could connect either of these and go on the net (I would prefer to use the USR11g.) So anyone able to help me?

I am using Ubuntu 5.1 btw!

you'll need to do some heavy research as most wireless cards are not natively supported by linux of any variety. if it isn't natively recognized, then you'll have to find a workaround which involves ndiswrapper and the xp driver the card came with.

this can become a huge headache so be forewarned...

you can start by searching ndiswrapper on google.

if you want a simpler option, do a search for Ubuntu and wireless cards to see if anyone has found one that works natively with Ubuntu and go buy that card.

good luck.
