Is there a driver for the UMAX Astra 1220P Scanner that works with XP? UMAX will not respond to severl messages. My next scanner will be another brand.

UMAX Scanner XP compatibility

Hi Larry,welcome to the forum.
I just logged onto the umax site:
www.umax.com
and did a search on your product.
I came up with incident # sc00186 which states that it will not run with ME so my guess is that it won't run with XP but I would try again posting this question to their tech support site.
I have an astra e3470 running w98se and it works great,so I'm satisfied with the product and bundled software.

Thanks for your trouble. I suspect you are correct, but I can't get a reply from UMAX even though I sent 2 emails asking this same question.- Status
