OK, This company can go blow themselves!
I have emailed them 10 times, about getting the scanner to work! NO RESPONSE! Nowhere on their website do they even mention anything about Windows XP compatability. So the scanner dont work! I even tried Win2k drivers, and no luck! So..anyone have any ideas...other than to stop buying products from companys who SUCK cuz they cant keep their drivers or tech support up to date?
Right now the 2 biggest crap stains go to: Umax & D-link, for crappy pathetic support!

    Hi:
Someone else asked basically the same question some time ago. When I logged onto the Umax site I did not see any reference to XP compatability.
As a last resort you can call them at 214-739-1915.Hours are 9-5 central time M-F.
I have a Umax e3470 using w98se and it works great.

Cut the attitude. You should have checked for drivers and compatibility BEFORE upgrading to Windows XP. That's your responsibility as a consumer.

The link Eddie posted IS a driver. Did you download it and install it?

If your refering me to having an attitude, mabye, but it's not directed at the guy who made a post here, NOT AT ALL!
Any of my attitude is directed at UMAX only! And I suppose Microsoft also.
And the link Eddie offered is a link to someone who posted a false driver, yes I did try it, Its a program that is part of the software you get with the scanner, but it will not work as a stand alone program.

    Hiya DJ Specs

Its okay. When I upgraded to Win2000 from 98, I checked for compatability for my D-Link NIC. It said compatable, but when I upgraded, it said Error. I was going mental. The only way to get on the internet, and NO!

But then, I searched for a driver and, lukily, found it. It was true that it was compatable, but the driver wasn't. So, you may have checked the scanner, but the drivers don't seem to be for XP.

Sorry about the link. Didn't realise as it was on a search.

Lets hope you find a scanner.

Thanx Eddie, Its not your fault. I appreciate your help.
It's funny you mentioned D-Link, they are the other guys who cause alot of trouble in WinXP. Anyway, have a good day! ;)
