un-install xp 64 edition

    I went and done a foolish thing. I installed xp 64 edition trial version. All i get is the blue screen of death. I want to un-install it. I installed it on my d: (external hard drive) as i wanted to have dual boot systems. I've reading for 4 hrs now and getting nowhere. Help!!!

    You can't uninstall an opperating system like a piece of software. The only thing to do is format the partition it is on. To do this Click Start > Run and type diskmgmt.msc while in regular WindowsXP then select the D: partition and format it.
