Hi, I have a huge pproblem . I had a Portege 3020ct with WinMe in it. The harddrive with 6gb capacity had two partition c; and D;. I wanted to install linux since it wouldn't recgnise the cd-rom nor the floppy drive. I couldnt partition the harddisk so i booted the laptop and then a msg appears windows protection error. since i couldnt use the floppy drive to access command prompt with the bootdisk, i took out the harddrive and transfered it to a Toshiba T1910, where i was able to format drive C: but now when i try to use Fdisk it tells me it cant access Drive 1. using scan disk i get the msg that the last cluster caanot be accessed. How can i get around this problem or it is hopeless?
