This is really strange. First, the configuration:

    1. Two systems connected via eithernet patch cable.
    2. Internet sharing on primary system.
    3. Both systems running WinXP (Pri = Pro; Sec = Home Edition)
    4. Both systems are able to map drives/folders.
    5. Both systems have all patches installed.
    6. Both systems using Norton Internet Security/Norton Antivirus.
    7. Both systems are synchronized for Windows IE "Tools > Internet Options" and for Norton Internet Security options.

    Note: Pri system:

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/ >> click on "PRESARIO DESKTOPS".

    Note: Sec system:

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/ >> click on "PRESARIO DESKTOPS".

Issue: Pri system has no problems what so ever performing the steps above. When the sec system attempts to access the PRESARIO DESKTOPS link; the message "The page cannot be displayed" and a bunch of "Please try the following" (none of which seem to work.)

The only difference that I can detect is that the Sec systems does not have Microsoft VM installed. It does have the Java VM installed from Sun Microsystems.

Real question: Why does this message appear even though the system is connected to the internet and no other pages have been found (so far) that do this?

Thank you for any help you can provide.
