Hi, i recently bought a usb wireless wifi connector & successfully installed the drivers. The problem is that whenever I click on a network to connect an error pops up saying 'Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. Please refresh the list of available networks, and try again.'
Plz help me to solve this problem.
Currently i am running Windows xp sp 2 on my desktop.

Why not SP3? Some networking devices will not work properly w/o SP3.

What firewall or security suite is, or ever was, on the system?

What's the brand name and model name and model number of that desktop?
What's the description of that USB wireless adapter?

I concur with Terry. Why isn't SP3 installed?
Certain programs and devices will not install or work with SP2.
