I have a sys with ASUS M2MX mobo, AMD X2 4600+ Proc, 2GB RAM, 500 GB SATA HDD running on Win 7 Ultimate. I'm unable to copy files from hard drive to a 4 GB Kingston pen drive. I tried different OS - XP, Vista and Win 7. It gives the same error ..............:([An unexpected error is preventing the operation. Make note of the error code, which might be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem: Error 0x8007045D: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. Try again, skip and cancel]. After the error is displayed the drive disappears from the explorer and need to reconnect. Sometimes it wipes out all the old files that are already there in the pen drive and asks to format the pen drive. The Format doesn't complete saying Windows was unable to complete the format.

    1. It copies files less that 2 MB.
    2. Can copy the files from pen drive to hard drive.
    3. The pen drive works on other machines. :)
    4. Doesn't work in Safe Mode either.
    5. Tried several OS and different USB ports.
    6. Flashed BIOS and Chipset driver.
