unable to download/install updates...

    hello guys!
    i have had this problem and was wondering if anyone else has experienced it and if they were able to fix it...
    i've got xp pro with sp 1 and there are two updates from the windows updater that i am unable to download or install...they are the latest update for my video card (geforce fx 5700 ultra) and also my processor (amd athlon xp 2500+ barton)...can anyone help me? please?

    Does it give any errors when trying? I would suspect its just because the site is just so busy lately with SP2 etc, give it a try at different times ...have you tried going to the manufacturers web sites to see if they have updates .......

    You may have a partial download in there somewhere - possibly SP2. It's just a possibility that turning off Automatic Updates, rebooting and turning them on again might kickstart the process again.
