    Hello Everyone,

I have just bought a new computer and upraded to windows 7 and IE9. Its an Intel i7 with a 64 bit operating system. I'm new here so I don't know if that info is relevant.

My problem is when I tried to open a link on a web page all I got was the little hand with a red and yellow star with an exclamation mark in it and then nothing else happens. I tried right clicking but the options to 'Open in another tab' were not available. So far it only happened in ebay when I tried to click on the online chat link. I just thought I would try to find out why, if possible, incase it happens again.

    Any ideas anybody?

    Thanks,

    Eyespy

There's no error message associated with the hand?

Can you take a screenshot the next time it happens?

    To take a screenshot,

1- Hit the Printscreen key on your keyboard. This will copy your entire screen to the clipboard. Hitting ALT + Printscreen will only copy the active window.

    2- Open Paint.

    3- Select Edit.

    4- Click on Paste.

    5- Select File.

    6- Click on Save As...

7- Save your screenshot as a JPEG file.

8- Attach the screenshot to your next post.

    Hi Phantom010

I can't get a screenshot its just too quick. All that happens is I get a click sound and the hand/pointer gets the star with the exclamation mark for about 1 second then it goes off.
