Back in December, Larry Core helped someone with the same problem I have. None of my audio apps (Creative Play Centre 2.5, Media Player 7.1 etc) will recognise .cda files.
Following that thread (entitled {Solved} dvd rom not playing .cda files - dated 13th January 01) showed me that I do not have MCI CD in Media Control Devices.
Larry's solution was to post a link to -microsoft.com/library/winresource/dnwin95/S659A.HTM
in order to install the driver
From the reply on the thread this worked. Unfortunately the link is not now available ('Page cannot be found'). A search for 'S659A.HTM' comes up blank.
Any help please?
My system is;
Abit KT7A Raid mobo
Athlon 1.0
Win 98 SE
256 ram
Creative Live! Value
Diamond Viper V770 pro.
