Hello, I am wanting to do a system restore but unable to do so. I got an error message (Ox80070005) "System Restore didn't complete successfully..It may be an Anti Virus preventing it from doing so..Disable the Anti Virus and try again"...I did this, (I have only Windows Defender Anti Virus on my Laptop) I got the same error message after running system restore again. I am running on Windows 10
    Please help jud

Unfortunately system restore cannot be fully trusted and is why many of us recommend using an image backups for the best backup and recovery strategy using Macrium Reflect, EaseUs ToDo or other similar software. Unfortunately at this point there is probaby no way to get it to work. What is the issue you are try to fix.

Thank you Darrin for you response....The issue I have is, I keep getting popups which are very annoying...Most of the time, they cover items in my mail making it difficult to read. I thought maybe a System Restore might fix the problem. I have gone into Settings in Chrome and blocked Popups but it hasn't cured the problem.
