unable to run firefox

Hi. My window xp is able to intall and run 1.0 firefox. But it can only install 1.04 firefox and not able to run it. The alert message is :
'Start.mazilla.org cannot be found. Please check the name and try again.'
Please advise. Thank you.

This is not a problem with Firefox - it's just the message that Firefox gives when it can't find a destination. If it really says "start.mazilla.org", it's misspelled. It should be mOzilla.

Have you tried to connect to other well-known sites, like www.yahoo.com? If you can't connect to anything, then the problem is likely in your TCP/IP configuration or dial-up config, if you're using a modem.
