I cannot shut-down after printing which happens any of printing, particularly after printing web-page. With Canon printer, for a few days,shut-down or restart PC/Dell with XP had no problem at all. However, recently, XP started acting up again, .... not able to shut-down XP.:(
For it shut-down, I need to push 'button' in the middle of the PC that I hate to do tho'.

Any solution to this would be truly appreciated.

actually printing software just doesnt seem to work well with windows xp
but you can try windows button+r key combo and type in shutdown -f to force shutdown
or you can uninstall canon printer and maybe thye drivers if that doesnt work and i can guide you with this
    But try shutdown first
    Best of luck:)
