    Please DONT write SOLVED on a thread that its not been solved yet right ???
    Sorry for my english, i speak french better.

    The ''very very slow'' cpu was the first problem (solved) THEN the next is .unable to start application .dll missing

    So NOW.
    I just solved it AND I want to post HOW i DID.

    So NOW YOU can tell its SOLVED, right ??

    There is :
    The ORCAD dont want to open cause cdscommon.dll is missing. But it works good for ORCAD layout.

    Searched on net and found :
    http://www.cadence.com/Community/forums/t/20403.aspx

    Look at my path settings on my system:
    go to config panel\ system \ advanced \ env syst variables window

    Add to PATH value:
    The previous path value was:
    %PROGRAMFILES%\Internet Explorer;

    I added
    %CDSROOT%\tools\bin;%CDSROOT%\tools\Capture;%CDSROOT%\tools\layout;

    Then you get:
    %PROGRAMFILES%\Internet Explorer;%CDSROOT%\tools\bin;%CDSROOT%\tools\Capture;%CDSROOT%\tools\layout;

    Select modif and add it.

    That works for me.

    They asked to add it in the user level. I did on the system level. It works. Might try at user level.
    Somhow something deleted the user level cdsroot and the path command...
