While surfing a bookmark was added without my knowledge. I would like to know how and if there is a way to stop this or know when it happens. I use win 98 second edition and Netscape 4.72. I was using a search engine.

I've not heard of a site just creating a bookmark without your consent, however this appears to be the case.

Is it possible that you may have clicked on something while you were there and the fine print at the bottom stated that it will create a bookmark? They are sneaky that way.

I would just delete the thing, and keep ane eye on things to be sure it does not reappear.

Dark Star, if you haven't heard of that, you haven't been listening - happens quite a lot.
What's worse are the sites that take over as your home page.

Try to pull as much info. from it as possible so you can search you system. They will leave junk everywhere and Adaware wont always get it all.
