The cursor on my notebook periodically becomes uncontrollable. I cannot get it to move to the area that I have chosen. After rebooting the cursor sometimes returns to normal.

Maybe you have some dirt on the touchpad, or wedged down the side that could be putting pressure on it.
We had that problem with our work laptop, so I got some compressed air, gave it a good clean – and it works fine now.

We volunteer our time here and the only reward we get is the satisfaction knowing we have helped someone. Sometimes people are really thankful and show their appreciation.
When people are rude we find that takes the focus away from their problem and it removes any incentive to help.
