    Ran across this Youtube video about what provides Internet connectivity across countries and continents separated by large expanses of ocean.



    Dug into the MAREA cable to see how they're making a claim of 160Tbps.

    I found it interesting and thought a few of you all might too. Pretty amazing that 400Gbps Ethernet is still (as far as I know) being finalized by the IEEE. Yet, they're utilizing 400Gbps lanes bundled together to achieve 160Tbps.
