Understanding temp internet files

    I'm interested in learning how to decode temp internet file names/info found on my families computors especially "aolbart" which I belive to be aol instant messaging . Any help?

    You will probably have to do a lot of research outside of this forum. Decode implies "hacking" and that would not be allowed on this forum. Although you can search here for previous posts that reveal some information not generally available in the Temporary Internet Files.

    Wrong wording sorry! I'm just trying to determine if a family member is using aol's IM at very odd hours and would like to learn more about interpreting the name and site info left on the temp internet files.

    Don't know if this would help you enough but....all files have a timestamp. That doesn't give you the content of the file but might confirm your thoughts.
