Unexpected re-boot since ad-ware invasion

    After the grandkids spent a day with online games, a Norton AV scan revealed in excess of 30 infected programs. NAV was unable to deal with most, but several ad-ware scan found numerous problems. The real problem, is that since the time of the ad-ware onslaught, I cannot complte a Norton AV scan without an unexpected computer shutdown before the completion of the scan. Any help much appreciated.

    Try going to Trend Micro or Panda and do an on-line scan.You can also get Microsoft Anti-Spywear.It's all free.See if that helps.
