    Hi,

I'm running Windows 98 Second Edition and today I had a succession of blue screens with the following (in order of appearance):-

    "Detected leak in M_pOutDCRej cct

    Press any key to continue"

So I pressed a key and:-

    "Detected leak in M_pPtr

    Press any key to continue"

    pressed another and:-

    "Detected leak in M_pBuffPtr"

    What are these pertained to?

At the time it happened I ws playing a game that has run without problem before.

I've recently installed all Windows 98 Updates - could these be an issue?

    Any help would be appreciated.

"I've recently installed all Windows 98 Updates "

    Meaning the UNofficial Service Pack?

Meaning exactly as I have stated - downloaded officially from the official Microsoft website - product verification and all that!!

Not sure what you're suggesting here.

    Don't take offense.

There is an UNofficial Service Pack that is available on download sites. I was questioning whether it was this that you had installed in order to get all of your updates.

There are a few hits on the net, but this one may be the cause???
