unhide hidden folders

    Besides selecting the "Show hidden files and folders" option, you need to uncheck BOTH "Hide" options.

    After you're done, click "Apply to all folders" and then click "Apply - OK".

    I tried doing that. Still doesn't work.
    It returns back to its default value. :(

    Download and save the following script to your desktop.

    Enable/Disable Show Hidden Files/Folders

    Double-click it to run the script.

    You will be prompted when the script is done.

    You may need to restart the computer.

    I'm getting an error when i tried running the script. I'm attaching the snapshot of the error message.[ error.png

    Try saving the file to another location on your C drive, and running it from there instead.
