Hello. My problem is that I have this USB Reader entry in Device Manager under "Other devices" which is detected upon startup each time and for which I cannot update the driver or do anything with as everything is unknown (It's indicated by a yellow question mark and exclamation mark). I believe that this problem is the cause of the computer's inability to work with any new USB devices, although 'old' devices still work. According to HP support, this may be the internal USB Reader, but they have still not managed to sort out my problem. I have tried uninstalling everything under the USB controllers, however upon restart not everything was reinstalled properly and so I had to use System Restore. The computer is the HP Pavilion t175.uk running Windows XP Home Edition. Any help would be much appreciated.
