Win2k does not have an "msconfig" that is why you cannot find it from the run command. There are only two places win2k loads start-up items, from the startup folder and from the registry. If you have already checked the startup folder, go to run > regedit. After in regedit, go to Hkey_Local_Machine >Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current version > Run. From there remove any key that refers to the process that is causing you problems. Prior to editing the registry export the key you are working on, this will allow you to import the key if you mess up the registry. That way you will be right back where you started from.
