I have been given four transcripts of telephone calls recorded at a call centre. All at different times on the same day. Two have the same callID number. The sequence of the numbers attributed to each call are odd. The first call has a higher number than later calls and the last two are also out of order. I am not sure if this is the right forum but i am desperate for some help. The transcripts are VERY important and I cannot be sure that they are the real deal because of the callID numbers. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I think you need to check with your employer on this one.

Thank you Cookiegal. This has nothing to do with my employer. Long story but we were seeking transcripts from a Government Agency Call Centre. We know the calls were made and recorded as they have provided the four transcripts. Our queiry concerns the length and the content of the call. The first call was made at 9.17 am and has the CallID 600956026050326. The next call was made at 12.14pm and has exactly the same CallID. The third call was made at 12.38pm and has the CallID 600957026045147. The fourth call was made at 12.40pm and has the CallID These call ID numbers do not seem right. We have good reason to question them. We have had some serious issues with this government agency obtaining information under the Official Information Act and these four transcripts were only provided after our Government Ombudsman told the agency to release the transcripts. We would have thought that the CallID numbers would have been either random or sequential.

Thank you for the clarification but we do not wish to get involved in this type of situation. That is not the purpose of these forums.

Since there's nothing we can do I'm closing this thread.
