    Hi guys,

I'm currently try to get Internet connection sharing working on my home network.

I have 3 pc's with xp, networked with no issues.

    they have ip addresses 192.168.0.1-3

.1 has a usb broadband modem, which in turn works fine.

When i turn on ISC for the connection and set the gateway and dns of the other computers to 192.168.0.1 i can no longer browse "server" machine's shared files from a client and cannot view any internet pages from a client. however, i CAN ping websites, eg google.com from client machines.

this is wierd as i would expect it to either work or not work.

can anyone suggest what might be the problem?

    thanks

    yeah, sorry i mean ICS.

Read that guide and i'm doing everything it says (it's pretty much the same as the other guides i've read).

One thing I have added is NetBEUI to the client machines. this has added a gateway to the network connections section but no change in the connectivity.
