Microsoft Office Outlook Has Stopped Working

This just started yesterday after I sent an email to a distribution list. When I sent the email, I received about a dozen copies of the email.

I cannot get into Outlook long enough to copy my .pst files.

Other users on this computer are not affected!!

This is what I have tried:
Rebooted
Opened Outlook in safe mode
retored computer to previous date

Were the copies of the email non deliverable receipts? You do not need to be in Outlook to copy your PST file. Go to it's location in the file system and move it. Then go into Control Panel > Mail and create a new pst file just to test the account. If the test account works try importing from your old pst file a folder at a time and test again. Probably something wrong with your distribution list and some bad email addresses.

Thanks for the response. To answer your question, there were definitely some incorrect email addresses in the distribution list. Not sure how that is avoidable or how that would cause such severe problems....

Anyway, can you clarify a few things for me please?

1) not sure what you mean by go to Control Panel > Mail.

2) can you walk me through the steps to take to resolve the problem?

Thanks!
