At work, I use a Sun Workstation running Unix that has a handy feature. Highlighting text with your mouse automatically puts that text in the clipboard without further action. The clipboard can then be pasted by clicking with the middle mouse button (using a 3-button mouse). Is there a utility that can do this for Windows XP?

If you have tweakxp installed, you can go to the mouse settings and I believe its in there. I couldn't live without that functionality either. It also allows you to do sloppy focus/semi sloppy focus on windows...if you are familar with those as well.
