I noticed an unknown device ( now disabled) that was connected via ethernet cable to my 2wire gateway router/modem. The thing is, i only have one working laptop that connects wirelessly and on one occassion ( 2 days ago) i used ethernet cable. These 2 events where on my router/modem homepage but a third one "unknown device" via ethernet cable , i do not know where it came from.

I've never seen this before because I routinely check my router/modems homepage and i never saw this unknown device ever. It just popped up today. I called ATT and they said they cannot verify what type of device it was, or when it was connected, or how long it was connected. The only thing they can verify is that it was connected using ethernet cable. Is there another way to figure out what this device is? I am thinking it could be a router/modem glitch but then again i live in an apartment and i wasn't home yesterday so you know just taking extra precautions and everything.
