I have 5 files in my download directory that I cannot figure out. Here are the file names:

    HL-DT-ST_RW-DVD-GCC-4481B-GW01_Saturday-September-13-2008_11-39_am-MCC-004-00.ibg
    HL-DT-ST_RW-DVD-GCC-4481B-GW01_Saturday-September-13-2008_11-39_AM_CMC_MAG-M01-00.IBG
    HL-DT-ST_RW-DVD-GCC-4481B-GW01_Saturday-September-13-2008_7-04_PM-CMC_MAG-M01-00.IBG
    HL-DT-ST_RW-DVD-GCC-4481B-GW01_Saturday-September-13-2008_8-09_PM_N-A.IBG
    HL-DT-ST_RW-DVD-GCC-4481B-GW01_Saturday-September-13-2008_12-00_PM_N-A.IBG

Either at or about that same time my DVD drive stopped working: it won't recognize a disk in it. The first part of the file name (HL-DT-ST_RW-DVD-GCC) is the name of the disk drive hardware. Another part is probably the time the file was created (I'm on a different computer now because the other computer doesn't have internet access, so I can't check the attributes). I've looked for the file extension .ibg, but haven't found anything that looks like this kind of file.
    Any help?

Everything I have found about this file extension says it is a type of image file that windows cant open.

Try uninstalling your drive in device manager. Close device manager and restart your computer. It may just be a corrupt driver that Windows will replace when you restart your computer if you have uninstalled the device first.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no help. Also tried a system restore to a date before the file dates, but no help there either.
