    WinPcap 4.1.2 is this needed for my computer

    It's used by many network monitoring programs, did you check the link I posted? You'd have to check or tell us what is installed to find out what installed it. However if you don't know what it is then you likely don't need it.

    Do you know how it got on your computer? Doesn't look like the type of program you'd see as the usual bloatware on a new machine.

    Hi,

    It's not part of Windows. It is used to monitor network traffic by programs such as Wireshark.

    But i have a doubt that Skype uses it.
