For the last 4 days when I click and open my downloads (folder is on taskbar) downloads are written and run top to bottom. They have always showed actual folders and run left to right.I have my windows updates set to manual download.I go to windows restore and it lists a critical update that I did not download and at a time when I was not on the computer.I do a restore and everything is OK.Until the next day.How could this be downloading an update when set to manual. Is someone controlling my computer.I run CCleaner,Super anti spyware and AV and checks ok.Help.I should not have to restore everyday.

I believe you are talking about the View menu. If you chose "Details" there, then Windows Explorer will list them from top to bottom. If you choose "Icon" then it would show the folders with a icon.
