    Hi,

I hope this is the right place to post. But i was just wondering do you think i should upgrade?

My current hardware looks like this:

    ASRock K7S8X R 3.0 mobo
Amd Athlon XP 1800+ Palamino cpu
    Samsung PC2100 512MB ram
    Connect3D Radeon 9550 256MB graphics
    120GB Total HDD space

And if so can you recommend some parts that i should be looking at?

    Thanks in advance

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

a decent frame rate in games would be nice, unlike the following:

    Counter-Strike Source: avg. 20fps - low settings
Day of Defeat: Source: avg. 11fps - low settings
Ghost Recon Advanced warfighter: avg. 8fps - low settings
Need For Speed: Most Wanted: avg. 30fps - medium settings

i just want to be able to play them, my friends i play with have like 64-bit 35 and 3700's and x800xt and 6800gt, when i go to lans with them my computer seems the lowest of low.

i just want to be able to do things when i click my mouse button, not have to wait several seconds just for it to start thinking about it.
