With the help of the AOL tech, I upgraded from 6.0 to 7.0. Although I expressly asked to do it in such a way that my old file and email messages are preserved, none of it can I find. What did I do wrong? Haw can I find them now?

hate to say it but they're probably gone
(based on aol versions up to 6)
    - the advice should have been to save your 'organize' folder and copy it into the aol7 directory

sun: AOL maintains your email & address book on their mainframes. JB is correct about your Organize Folder ... It holds all your Favorite Places & Personal Filing Cabinet Info on YOUR hard drive. There is/was a question during the conversion that asked you if you wanted to copy these files to AOL 7.0 ... I guess the "Preschool Techie" failed to mention this to you!
