    Hi Everyone!

I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012), running Mac OS Sierra. I have decided to upgrade the HDD to an SSD. I have the new SSD and I bought a SATA to USB cable to clone the HDD to the SSD directly. I used Time Machine to back up my HDD.

    I have a few questions:

I want to initialize the SSD with MacOS High Sierra, however, I am not sure if my data from my HDD will read onto the new SSD with the new OS. I am also concerned about Adobe CS6. Should I initialize the new SSD with macOS Sierra? Is it possible to move my current HDD to an SSD running macOS High Sierra?

Thanks for all and any help!

Boot into recovery mode and clone your HDD to your SSD....then boot off the SSD and update to High Sierra through the App Store.

Need anymore details just let me know, but Apple makes it easy to do.
