I have a toshiba satallite 115. I have 1M of video ram and need 4M's to participate in a video course at school.

What are the odds that I can reasonably upgrade this thing's video card?

    Thanks.

No too good since a laptop is a "closed" design..If the video is "onboard" it might be possible to increase the amount of RAM alocated ( check the display settings) . If you do have the option then the only avenue will be to get a RAM stick and then increase the memory assigned to video . This type of video memory is called "shared memory".

Mmmm. I was afraid of that. I will check out the the memory allocation settings and hopefully be able to go the Ram route. Thanks.
