upgrading win98 to win98se

    i am trying to share a 56k modem between my win98(modem) and my winME(no modem) i found out through your networking forum that i should probably upgrade my win98 to at least win98se. so i got the disk to do it but i need to know if i will lose all my other programs or not shouldi move all my files over to the winME or will it not effect them?

    No, I don't think you will unless you format the HD.
