Hello, I am using an HP 15-f009ca laptop, I have upgraded RAM and most other hardware items surprisingly making it a very good PC. But I have not been able to figure out how to connect an external graphics card. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Ummm....there's only two pieces you can upgrade....RAM/HDD. The rest can be done....but it's way to hard/costly for the novice or avg user. So what other hardware did you upgrade?

Why would you wan't to hook up an external GPU to a laptop....it's extremely costly and labor intensive. Not to mention that the laptop wasn't designed for that purpose.....and you risk permanently damaging the laptop or worst case bricking it.

That is a very low end laptop and as such, you are never going to get decent video performance. Even IF you could get an external video chip, you would be disappointed in the performance. That laptop was designed for basic web access, email, etc. It was never designed for any type of intense video usage.

Using something in a manner for which it was not designed is an exercise in futility.

In short, if you want a gaming laptop, purchase one that was designed for gaming.
