i have a bit of a strange one here. as of 2 weeks ago, i can no longer upload pictures to ebay when listing an item for sale. in the past, i would drag a photo to the necessary spot on the listing page, and after filling the rest of the page out, i would click on "continue" at the bottom. at that point a small window would pop up letting me know the photo(s) were being sent to ebay's system. normally, the screen would advance to the submit page and i would complete the listing process. now, although it shows that the photo was sent, it doesn't advance. in fact, nothing on that page is "click-able". i am forced to close the window completely. similarly, i notice that if i advance too fast through pages, or "go back" too fast (what i mean by too fast is not letting the window completely load), the same thing happens. that page becomes frozen and i have to close it and start again. i have windows '98 and dsl service through verizon. i also signed up with aol for a free month to see if the IP had anything to do with it, and it doesn't. the same problem occurs. please help!!!

    Hiya

    Lets do some cleaning up.

Go to Tools | Internet Options. General tab, under Delete Files, delete offline folders.

Now, lets try a repair. Go to Control Panel | addRemove. Doubleclick Microsoft Internet Explorer, choose Repair, apply and restart.

Is this a secure page, as in the little yellow padlock is in the bottom? Does this happen with all secure pages if it is one?

Now, go here and download AddAware www.lavasoftusa.com
Install and run, ensuring that Deep Registry Scan is enabled. Remove all except for any references to Web3000 or new.net. If you're unsure, copy/paste the list here.

Whilst you're there, download and install RefUpdate to get the latest updates

    Regards

    eddie
