Hey!

I need some urgent help please!
Earlier today when logging into a site, I pressed enter, just as a "Do you want to install..." box popped up, so it took my enter as yes and began installing all kinds of spyware.

I scanned and removed the spyware using both Microsoft Antispyware and Spybot but I am still having problems.

A while after it had installed, my PC just started switching itself off. No shutting down, just switched off, then on again.

When it came back on, it said Windows had recovered from a fatal error which turns out to be an error due to my graphics card driver.

I then updated the driver to the latest intel one, same thing happened. It does it every 30 mins or so, its driving me crazy!

I thought about reinstalling windows, however when I tried to backup and move my important folders to CD, it said there was an error copying them!

Another odd error, is when I scan using Ad aware, about half way through it gets an error saying "Run A DLL as an App" has been shut down by this code execution thing for protection, and windows explorer crashes.

It did pick up I had VX2 malware (3 items... fp0003dme.dll, iasetup.dll and guard.tmp) but Ad A can't remove them. Would this have anything to do with it?
I did have that WTOOLSA thing on my system, but that has been removed.

Any help desperately needed please!

Ok will do that now.

Also, after disabling it shutting down auto, I got the error -

Stop 0x50 Error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Now, it mentions things that could be wrong on the MS Site, such as RAM, CPU, Drivers etc... the "report error" from MS was giving me a graphics card error. Of which I have mentioned I upgraded, and still same error, so not sure.

I don't think this is a virus as I have scanned my pc with norton, and really cant think what it could be lol

Anyway, now doing Hijack this

Ok, going to remove MP3, the games are installed by pogo, which is run by EA so I am guessing they are pretty safe, they've been on there for a long time today.

Going to fix what you have said, and also I was looking at lavasoft forums about VX2 removal, followed some of their instructions and found quite a few dll's which were created today (when the problems started) removed those, no except error at start up.

Also updated graphics driver, dont really see how that is the problem because its been fine for ages.

Another thing LOL MS Antispyware keeps saying at start up whether or not to allow a BHO and some kind of .exe, for both I've blocked them.

I just hope it doesn't shut down again lol
