Try using your Windows XP CD to repair Windows. Then use a spyware scanner and run a test and then a virus scanner to run a test.

    Delete all infected items.

Sorry, but I am not 'qualified' to help you with malware issues much further. It's a techguy.org policy.

    Hi,
Thanx for the reply. I have already tried that - except the windows reapir thing. I have to find my cd...I have run spybot as well as avg and it has deleted all infections. But it is still happening.
If i find my cd's...which ones shuld i use. The original windows cd or the recovery cd's?

    Thanks again

Which cd you use would depend on if your recovery cd's will save your data or not. If not, then I would use your windows xp cd to make a repair of your current windows installation if you have one.

Although I can't assist in HJT logs, I must recommend that you have it moved to the Security forum.

In the top-right corner of your message is a red triangle with an exclamation mark: Report Post to Moderators. Ask them politely if they can move your post to the Security forum. You'll more likely (and more quickly) get a response.

Download WinPFind3U.exe to your Desktop and double-click on it to extract the files. It will create a folder named WinPFind3u on your desktop.
    • Open the WinPFind3u folder and double-click on WinPFind3U.exe to start the program.
      • In the Processes group click All
      • In the Win32 Services group click Non-Microsoft
      • In the Driver Services group click Non-Microsoft
      • In the Registry group click Non-Microsoft
      • In the Files Created Within group click 60 days Make sure Non-Microsoft only is UNCHECKED
      • In the Files Modified Within group select 30 days Make sure Non-Microsoft only is CHECKED
      • In the File String Search group select Non-Microsoft
    • Now click the Run Scan button on the toolbar.
    • When the scan is complete Notepad will open with the report file loaded in it.
    • Click the Format menu and make sure that Wordwrap is not checked. If it is then click on it to uncheck it.
Use the Add Reply button and Copy/Paste the information back here. I will review it when it comes in.
