Win XP Home, CPU: 800, MEM: 384. I recently installed a USB 2.0 PCI card and a USB 2.0 HD enclosure. Today was the first time I booted with the enclosure plugged into the card, and the computer hung at the XP screen. I got a message about recently installed hardware, unplugged the enclosure and the computer started fine. I reconnected the enclosure to the USB 2.0 card and all is fine. Both have the latest drivers. There are no problems when rebooting, only in a full startup. Event Viewer did not indicate any problem at all. Everything is good in Device Manager. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
