Hello everyone.
I have an oldish Dell Computer with USB 1.0.
I bought a USB 2.0 PCI upgrade card.
The question I have is this:
To save system resources, should I diable the USB 1.0 ports on my motherboard?
If I do diable, do I do that from the BIOS?
Or, if I want to use both the 1.0 and 2.0 slots at the same time, will there be a conflict between the two?

Thanks for your time and help.

The USB 1.0 ports will be part of the motherboard chipset, I cannot see any "resource" problem from leaving them active. Unless you use them, no resource issues should arise?

You may get more problems by trying to disable them.
