usb cannot be recognised

    so 2 of my usb slots have stoped working and keeps coming up with the error message when ever i put anything into the slots ,i have trired a few things i have found online but nothing has seemed to worked yet so now i am lost of what do , i dont want to loose the use of the 2 slots so any help is much appreciated thanks I have a medion erazer windows 10 laptop

    The specs I found show two usb 3.1 ports and a single usb 2 port.
    As a test, attempt to boot the system with a bootable usb ie linux live usb, windows install usb, or anyother bootable usb. If you can boot with the usb, the ports are working and it is a windows/driver/software problem. If you cannot boot with a bootable usb, then the port or ports have failed. If it is the later, most likely a fuse has blown and that is why the port does not work.
