    Hi

    I'm using a Windows 7 machine i5 4690k

I installed SCP toolkit in order to use play station pad. Everything worked ok. One day I upgraded from PS3 to PS4 pad and during this I have installed drivers over the top of drivers meant for keyboard and mouse dongle. Now when I use that USB port the keyboard does not work.

I have since uninstalled SCP and completely wiped drivers, plugged keyboard and mouse dongle into USB port and it still will not allow the keyboard to work. The worst thing is that every thing that uses ANY USB slot was overwritten. I have no idea what damage this has done. Up to now its just my keyboard that will not work but there is untold damage I am as yet unaware of.

How do I go about fixing my messed up USB ports? Or even just that one specific port that blocks keyboard from working?

    Thanks,
    GS

Get out your motherboard CD and re-install the drivers.

You know what! PC Specialist sent this without anything like that - I have a partition which I presume has a back up on it...I do not know!.

You know what else they did?

They charged me for extra fans, I took PC apart to clean last month and these two additional fans were not even connected.

    Is this the company?

First contact them and ask for the CD and the 2 missing fans you paid for.
If they refuse to respond, start complaining on forums.

If they start reading about complaints about their computer building, they might decide to give you some customer support.

Yes that's them... It was purchased in late 2015 but worth speaking to them I agree.
