When you say it is not responding, what do you mean? Does Windows XP recognize the disk and give you a drive icon with a drive letter? And you can click on that icon and a window opens? And that window is empty? Is that what you mean?

I tried with Recuva, but no luck. It is saying "The system can't find the file specified".

If I try to copy any file in to that drive it is throwing error "cannot copy.: can't find the specifield file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name" please suggest

If you are trying to recover data try other data recovery software, and don't try to write to the drive.

If you are just trying to regain use of the USB drive try formatting it.
