Hi, I'm having a problem when trying to install a USB device. I'm trying to install the Dazzle Digital Video Creator 50 on my Dell 4100/Win ME machine. The computer detects the device and brings up the driver wizard where I let it find the driver on the CD. The CD starts to run but the whole process freezes. Doing CNTL+ALT+DEL says not responding. I've also had this problem with a Fuji digital camera as well as a Zio digital camera card reader (both unable to install). BUT, I do have my printer, scanner and a Logitech PC camera set up with no problem through USB. I don't know why it freezes up when trying to install new pieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

First, when it does that you should try to unlock it by trying to close something that can be stalling it. Second, you really shouldn't use Microsoft's drivers anyway. It is better to use the drivers from the manufacture.

Thanks for the thoughts. When this occurs I have nothing else running, unless there is something going on in the background. Also, I am trying to use the manufacturers' drivers when this freeze up occurs. It searches for the driver on the CD provided, but that's where it freezes.

    Thanks again!
