I have a USB hard drive that I made from an old Laptop hard drive that worked for 6 months or so, then today I was trying to swap it out to another computer and when I put it in the new computer, I dumped some files onto it, did the safely remove drive feature, and unplugged it. I then went to put it back in the old system, and it gets an error of unrecognized USB device and does the same on the other system. Now I have two computers with the ports I tested the drive on, not working for any devices. Plus I cannot access the data on the drive. I have attempted to remove all the USB drivers from both computers in computer management, but that doesn't solve anything... PLEASE HELP!!
