Tried on multiple computers and it will not detect my Lexar 2GB flash drive*.

Right now I have it plugged into my work computer:

    Vista 32bit OS
All USB ports work just great.

The issue when I plug it in, it says unknown device detected, it will not show up in "My Computer" and it also does not show up in "Manage Devices" -> under Administrative tools... It does show in the Device Manager as "Unknown Device"... I have tried installing drivers for this device and it will not load them... I have tried this on 3 other computers, with different OS's, with no luck...

"I would love you long time", if any of you have a clue or some advice as to what I could try... If you need more info just let me know, I have tried a lot of things so far, even software recovery programs that cannot detect it either...

*Is it possible for me to mount this in Linux and read the data?
