I keep getting this error "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it". And if I leave my PC on to long the keyboard, mouse, and sometimes even the monitor stop working. I've tried unplugging the keyboard and mouse (which are not USB) and plugging them back in, but to no avail.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

    Edit: It's a Dell Dimension 8400

    Hi!

Have a look in Device manager (Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device manager). Look for any yellow exclamation/question-marks.

Try removing and un-installing the USB device from the computer and with the device still unplugged reboot the computer and then re-install the USB device software and then either when asked plug the device back in or when rebooting pug it back in then, let us know the outcome of doing this.

Why didn't you do what "ozrom1e" suggested and made a report?
